Jim Kerr - Executive Director
I was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and was immediately put up for adoption. After living in 7 different foster homes in my early years, God brought me to William and Nancy Kerr who not only adopted me, but introduced me to my Heavenly Father at age 7. God used my parents, church and local Christian School to minister to my heart, and I wanted to be used by God in the lives of others in similar ways. Upon obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in History/Secondary Education, I began a 25 year career in education. During that time I also obtained my Masters of Arts in American League History.
In 1990 God blessed me with a wonderful and supportive wife, Terri, and we have three wonderful children. Our eldest, Jamie, has married Emily in 2014 and he is working on his undergraduate degrees. Emily obtained her art degree in 2015. Shannon enjoys her cat (Daisy), fashion, playing volleyball and being with her friends. Patrick enjoys his cat (Tiger), building things, playing basketball and computer games with his friends.
As I have long had a passionate desire to be used by God to encourage others, I know that God will still use this even as I change careers from education to the ministry of the PRC. I am looking forward to seeing how God uses me at the PRC and how He uses this ministry in my life.

Sue Mirgon - Operations Manager
My name is Sue Mirgon and I am married to Dan, my best friend of 34 years. We have two grown children – Our daughter, Deborah, who lives in Salt Lake with her husband and two children, and our son Mark, who lives in Arizona. We moved to Salt Lake from Orange Country, California in 2010, at the urging of our daughter and son-in-law. Grandma and grandpa need to be close by after all and there is nothing better than being grandparents!
After moving to SLC, however, I found myself asking the Lord where He wanted me. With 20 years of office management experience in a non-profit setting, I was asking the Lord for work with purpose. It was an almost 3 year process that ultimately brought me to the PRC and I am humbled that God has allowed me the honor of working in this ministry. Life is precious at any stage and I am excited to see what God has in store for the ministry of the Pregnancy Resource Center.
Sara Jensen, RN BSN - Nurse Manager
My name is Sara Jensen, and I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I came to the US for college and have a BS degree in Psychology and Nursing.
I met my perfect spouse at church at age 40. We were married in Malaysia and I had our first child, Matthew, at age 41 and my daughter, Christina, at age 44. I have been blessed with a beautiful family.
After being a stay-at-home mom for five years, I decided it was time to venture out. I had a strong desire to volunteer at the PRC. I started volunteering as a nurse in the fall of 2103 and have loved it. By God’s grace, I am now the nurse manager and feel privileged to work with women in crisis on such an intimate level. I thank God for the opportunity to be His trusted servant in this life-affirming ministry.
Stephanie Cable, RN, BSN - Nurse
I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, and later in life I moved to Provo to attend college and graduated with a BS in nursing. I then worked in a hospital setting for 18 years.
I have an amazing husband, Dale and we have 4 wonderful children. I enjoy running, weight lifting and camping.
Seven years ago, the Lord miraculously opened my eyes to who He really is, and I now have a personal relationship Him. God was quite persistent in urging me to volunteer as a nurse at the PRC so I started volunteering 3 years ago and accepted a part time position a year ago.
My personal life experiences have given me much empathy and compassion to serve these women. I’m grateful for this opportunity to serve in this life affirming ministry and letting others know of His great love and mercy. I absolutely love seeing how God works at the PRC!
I was born and raised in central Kansas where I also went to college and graduated with a Bachelors in Nursing. I then worked in Wichita at a hospital as an OB nurse then later in a clinic setting.
I met my husband the first day of college and we have been married 24 years. He has family here in Salt Lake City, and so we moved here to be close to them 16 years ago. We have three awesome teenagers one of which just moved to Kansas to go to college.
I was drawn to the PRC by hearing about it at church and through friends. It was an exciting opportunity for me to be able to use my medical skills to minister in my community. Volunteering here at the PRC has had its challenging moments but it is sweet to see how God works and is sovereign. Many times while performing the ultrasounds when I think a good picture is impossible God brings about the perfect one or shows an amazing heartbeat that is just what that mom/family needs to see. It is a great place to be able to work alongside awesome staff who are also passionate about what they do and about serving Christ.
Rachelle Canada - Client Services Manager
Hi! My name is Rachelle Canada and I am a native Utahan. I attend Lifeline Community Church. I love to sing, listen to music, play sports and am learning sign language. I love meeting people from various countries and cultures and lived in Belize for a year learning their customs and way of living. My biggest dream and desire is to one day run my own orphanage and be mom to those who don’t have one. I came to the PRC in 2012 as part of the Abstinence Education team. This team goes into public schools and helps educate Jr. High and High School students on abstinence, what a healthy relationship looks like and how to have one.
About a year ago God started working on my heart, giving me a desire to be more directly involved with the PRC. In February 2014, I joined the staff as their new receptionist. In the short time I have been here, God has given me a greater burden for the women, men and families we serve. I am excited to see what God will do and how He will choose to use me here.
Anna Vasilenko - Receptionist
Hi! I'm Anna, simply a girl loved by God in so many ways. One of them is by this opportunity to be a part of the Pregnancy Resource Center team. I come from a massive Russian family, I'm number 7 out of 15! (My momma had 10, then adopted 5 more.) We've always been Christian and I have always had an intimate relationship with my Daddy God.
Within the last five years, I've traveled a bit of Europe, served in an orphanage in India, and counseled in a women's drug and alcohol rehab center in Oregon. The last year and a half I spent serving the people of Mozambique, Africa. I picked up basic Portugese there and hope to use it at the PRC, along with my Russian. I love God and I love people. My prayer is that His love, joy and hope radiate through me!
Victoria Lee - Receptionist
My name is Victoria Lee. I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. I attended the University of Florida where I received my Associated Degree. In 1991, I went on to become a massage therapist.
In 1994, I married the love of my life, Wayne. Three years later, my husband’s job brought us to Utah with our 6 month old daughter Jacqueline in tow. Our son Michael was born just fourteen months after moving to Utah. Since then, we have put down roots in Utah and consider it home. With our daughter in her third year of college at Whitworth University and our son in his first year at Colorado State University, we have started a new chapter in our lives as “empty nesters.”
I feel blessed for the opportunity to serve at the PRC. I am excited to work alongside a staff that has a heart for serving God. I am looking forward to how God will grow me and use me in my time at the PRC.
